NJCAA Men's Soccer National Champion Nguyen signs to Campbell University

Pima Community College men's soccer player Alec Nguyen (Sahuaro HS) signed his national letter of intent and will play at the NCAA Division I level.

  • Nguyen, a sophomore midfielder, signed to continue his education and collegiate career at Campbell University, a private university in Buies Creek, NC. The Fighting Camels are out of the Big South Conference.
  • Nguyen helped the Aztecs reach the NJCAA Division I National Tournament this season. He played in 18 games and made 15 starts. The Aztecs finished the season at 15-4-2.
  • He was also part of the 2018 NJCAA Division I National Championship team where he scored nine goals and had seven assists. He played in 27 out of the 28 games as the Aztecs finished at 26-2.
