Former men's soccer player Takanaka signs to Colorado Mesa University

Former Aztecs men's soccer player Daisuke Takanaka signed his letter of intent to play for Colorado Mesa University, an NCAA Division II school in Grand Junction, CO. Former Pima Community College men's soccer player Daisuke Takanaka signed his letter of intent to continue his education and playing career at the NCAA Division II level.

  • Takanaka signed to Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO. The Mavericks play in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
  • Takanaka was a part of the 2017 Aztecs team that finished in third place at the NJCAA Division I National tournament. In his only season with the Aztecs, he started and played in 23 of the 27 games where he scored seven goals and had five assists. The Aztecs went 19-5-3 that season.
