Aztecs Men's Track & Field set five new personal-records at Mesa Invitational

The Pima Community College men's track & field team closed out the regular season on Friday at the Mesa Invitational.

  • The Aztecs had five athletes set new personal-records in their respected events.
  • Freshman Forrest Waller (Palo Verde HS) – Second place in the Javelin Throw 48.33 meters (158-feet, 6-inches).
  • Freshman Devin Jackson – Second place in the 400-meter hurdles 58.00.
  • Freshman Nathan Plant – Third place in 800 meters 2 minutes, 00.49 seconds.
  • Sophomore Adrian Teso (Benson HS) – Fourth place in the Hammer Throw 44.68 meters (146-7).
  • Freshman Emmanuel Corral (Pusch Ridge Christian HS) – Fourth place in the 5,000 meters 15:54.13.

The Aztecs will compete in the NJCAA Region I Multi-Event Championships on Monday and Tuesday at Mesa Community College.
