Lorenson signs to play at Fort Lewis College

Pima Community College softball pitcher Mandy Lorenson (Ironwood Ridge HS) will continue her collegiate career at the NCAA Division II level.

Lorenson, a freshman, signed her national letter of intent on Tuesday to play at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO.

Lorenson threw six no-hitters for the Aztecs this season as she earned second team All-ACCAC and was selected to the All-Region I, Division I team. She went 14-8 on the year with a 4.03 ERA in 28 appearances; she made 24 starts. She finished second in the ACCAC with 141 strikeouts in 118 innings pitched.
