Pitcher Silvain signs to the University of Minnesota Crookston

Pima Community College starting pitcher Luisa Silvain (Cholla HS) signed her national letter of intent on Wednesday to continue her education and her collegiate career.

Silvain will play for the University of Minnesota Crookston, an NCAA Division II school, starting this fall.

Silvain pitched 62.1 innings this season and went 3-4 with a 5.17 ERA and 28 strikeouts. She made 23 appearances on the mound with 22 starts and three complete games. She threw 76.1 innings in 2016 going 5-2 in 29 appearances.
