Bio

Started at Pima: 2005
Education: Coach Quiroz has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an Emphasis in Theology and received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Pima.
Playing/Coaching Experience: As a player, Coach Quiroz was named Player of the Year by local newspapers in 1999 and 2000 while playing for Flowing Wells High School. She also won State Championships at Flowing Wells in 1999 and 2000. She played one year of softball at Pima in 2001-02 season as an infielder. In that year she was named 1st Team All-Conference, All-Region, and first team NJCAA All-American. She led the country in hitting with a .500 batting average. Quiroz transferred to the University of Arizona in 2002 and played for two years. In 2002 her team was National Champion runner-up and Co-Pac-10 champions with UCLA. She went on to play in the National Pro Fastpitch league and played for the Arizona Heat from 2005-2008.
She became the head coach in 2019 and led the Aztecs to 3rd place finish at the NJCAA Region I, Division II tournament in her first season. Coach Quiroz was assistant coach at Pima (2005-2013) and was named Associate Head Coach (2013-2018).
Highlights: Pima softball National Champions 2006.
Personal: Has two sons Ivan, and Elijah. She enjoys boxing, working out and spending time with her godchildren Makayla, Joseph, Alex, and Maddox.
