Pima Community College mainstay Sydni Stallworth's (Palo Verde HS) junior college career came full circle on Friday.

Stallworth, a sophomore guard, was named first-team NJCAA Division II All-American for the second straight year. She joined Tia Morrison (2009, 2010) and Abyee Maracigan (2009, 2010) as the only women's basketball student-athletes to take home back-to-back All-American honors.

Stallworth helped lead the Aztecs to a 23-8 overall record and a runner-up finish in the Region I, Division II tournament. She played and started in all 31 games this season averaging 17 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game. She shot 39 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free throw line.

She was also selected ACCAC Division II Player of the Year for the second straight year. She was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week seven times during her career at Pima.

Stallworth finished her Pima career with a record of 51-16 and guided the Aztecs to a Region I, Division II Championship and a third place finish at the NJCAA Division II tournament in 2016.

Stallworth signed her national letter of intent to compete at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.
