Basha HS forward Rose signs with Pima

The Pima Community College women's basketball program signed Macey Rose from Basha High School in Chandler.

Rose, a 5-10 forward, averaged 12.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.2 steals in her senior season. She was named AIA 6A Premier Region first team All-Region and first team All-Chandler.

"Macey is going to bring toughness, versatility and a tremendous work ethic to the Aztec women's basketball program," Pima coach Todd Holthaus said. "No moment has been too big and she relishes a good challenge. Being a great student-athlete, Macey will also be expected to set the tone in the classroom."
