The Pima Community College women's basketball team added more size to the front court as it signed Quinnesha "Q" Mitchell from Marana High School.

Mitchell, a 6-2 forward, helped lead the Tigers to a 22-5 overall record. She was named 5A Sonoran Region second team All-Region and All Sports Tucson Girls Basketball second team All-Star. Mitchell averaged 4.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals in her senior season.

"Quinnesha is big, strong and athletic. She is filled with tremendous potential," Pima women's basketball coach Todd Holthaus said. "Q will provide the Aztecs with some much-needed size. Her ability to score around the basket, get up and down the floor, block shots and defend multiple positions will be fun to watch develop."
