Aztecs women's basketball players Gamillo and Bortoli signs to four-year universities

Pima Community College women's basketball players and Walden Grove High School graduates Briana Gamillo and Rhianna Bortoli signed their letters of intent to continue their education and collegiate basketball careers at the four-year university level.

  • Gamillo, a 6-2 forward, signed to play at Ottawa University Arizona, an NAIA school out of the Golden State Athletic Conference in Phoenix, AZ. She played in 19 games this season and 14 games as a freshman.
  • Bortoli, a 5-7 guard, signed to play at the University of the Southwest, an NAIA school out of the Red River Athletic Conference in Hobbs, NM. She played in 13 games this season and 10 games as a freshman.

Gamillo and Bortoli helped the Aztecs reclaim the NJCAA Region I, Division II crown this season and finish in fifth place at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.
