Women's Basketball Forward/Post player Rori Hoffmeyer named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week

Freshman forward/post player Rori Hoffmeyer (Cibola HS) was selected ACCAC Division II Player of the Week as she posted a double-double of 13 points and 19 rebounds in Pima's 93-60 win over Phoenix College to open ACCAC conference play. Pima Community College women's basketball player Rori Hoffmeyer (Cibola HS) established her dominance to start ACCAC conference play last week and was recognized for her efforts.

  • Hoffmeyer, a freshman forward/post player, was selected ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 19-25.
  • Hoffmeyer posted a double-double of 13 points and 19 rebounds in Pima's 93-60 win over Phoenix College last Tuesday to open ACCAC conference play. She grabbed eight offensive rebounds and 11 defensive boards. She also recorded two steals and two blocks.
  • In five games, Hoffmeyer is averaging 8.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in the first five games played.

The Aztecs are 5-1 overall and 2-0 in ACCAC conference play. They will return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday, Dec. 6 when they host Central Arizona College in an ACCAC conference match-up. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
