PCC women's golf take 4th at Mesa Invitational
The Aztecs women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Mesa Invitational held at the Dobson Ranch Golf Course in Mesa.
Pima finished with a team score of 725 (361-364) as they had placed third in their first two tournaments. Paige Valles (Catalina Foothills HS) finished the tournament in 10th place with a two-day total of 171 (87-84). Carley Nelson closed it out with a 181 (88-93) which put her in 13th place. Rachel Blount (Sahuaro HS) shot a 185 (92-93) and placed 14th while Casey Morinelli (Mountain View HS) finished 15th with a 189 (94-95).
The Aztecs will play their fourth tournament at the Scottsdale Invitational on Sunday and Monday which will be held at the Hillcrest Golf Course in Sun City. The teams tee-off at 11:00 a.m. on both days.
