Hacker ties for fourth place at Estrella Mountain Invitational

The Pima Community College women's golf team competed at the Estrella Mountain Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Tres Rios Golf Course in Goodyear, AZ.

The Aztecs couldn't field a team score as they played with three players. Sophomore Samantha Hacker (Sahuaro HS) finished tied for fourth place in the individual standings. She shot a 90 in her first round but had a seven-stroke improvement in the final round as she finished with a 173 (90-83).

Freshman Abby Miller (Ironwood Ridge HS) finished in 10th place with a two-day total of 191 (94-97) while fellow freshman Juliana Perez (Tucson HS) shot a 204 (108-96).

The Aztecs will play in the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational on Sunday and Monday, Mar. 12-13 at the Los Colinas Golf Course in Queen Creek, AZ. The teams will tee-off at noon on both days.
