Esquivel and Satterfield close out first two rounds at NJCAA National Championship
The Pima Community College women's golf team sent two representatives to compete as individuals at the NJCAA National Championship.
Sophomore Araceli Esquivel (Salpointe Catholic HS) and freshman Elizabeth Satterfield (Ironwood Ridge HS) closed out their first two rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
Esquivel improved from her first round total by 10-strokes as she shot a four-over par 76 on Tuesday. She is tied for 50th place with a score of 162 (86-76). Satterfield has struggled in her first two rounds as she has a two-day score of 205 (102-103).
Esquivel and Satterfield continue play at the Longbow Golf Club on Wednesday and Thursday.
