Aztecs women's golfer Victoria Peña shoots season-best round, earns medalist at Chandler-Gilbert Invitational

The Pima Community College women's golf team closed out play at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational on Sunday at the Las Colinas Golf Course in Queen Creek, AZ.

  • Freshman Victoria Peña (Tucson Magnet HS) earned her third medalist honor in five tournaments as she took sixth place with a total of 167. She shot a season-best 83 in Saturday's round and closed out Sunday with an 84; her second-best round of the season.

The Aztecs will close out the regular season at the Paradise Valley Invitational on April 26-27 at the Wildfire Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ.
