Aztecs women's golfer Victoria Peña shoots season-best round, earns medalist at Chandler-Gilbert Invitational

The Pima Community College women's golf team closed out play at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational on Sunday at the Las Colinas Golf Course in Queen Creek, AZ.

Freshman Victoria Peña (Tucson Magnet HS) earned her third medalist honor in five tournaments as she took sixth place with a total of 167. She shot a season-best 83 in Saturday's round and closed out Sunday with an 84; her second-best round of the season.

The Aztecs will close out the regular season at the Paradise Valley Invitational on April 26-27 at the Wildfire Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ.
