Aztecs Women's Golf hosts Pima CC Invitational at The Preserve Golf Club

The Aztecs Women's Golf team hosted the Pima CC Invitational on Tuesday and Wednesday at The Preserve Golf Club. The Pima Community College women's golf team closed out its fourth tournament of the season Tuesday as it hosted the Pima CC Invitational at The Preserve Golf Club.

The Aztecs fielded three golfers for the tournament and were unable to score team points.
Due to the weather conditions, the Aztecs played 27 holes total; nine holes for Monday's round.
Sophomore Kayley Yanez (Marana HS) closed out Tuesday's round with a 13-over par 85 as she finished in seventh place with a score of 130 (45-85).
Sophomore Myranda Moreno (Tucson Magnet HS) shot a 91 in Tuesday's round, closing out the tournament with a 133 (42-91).
Freshman Arianna Rel finished with a two-day total of 149 (49-100).

The Aztecs will play at the South Mountain CC Invitational on April 2-3 at the Cave Creek Golf Club in Phoenix. Teams begin to tee off at 12:30 p.m.
