Sophomores Prescilla Gonzalez (Buena HS) and Devyn Hunley each scored two goals as the Aztecs beat Scottsdale 4-1.

Gonzalez put the Aztecs on the board 26 seconds into the game with a header into the goal that was assisted by fellow sophomore Alyssa O'Connell (Empire HS). Gonzalez gave the Aztecs a bit of a cushion just before the half when she scored again in the 41st minute. The goal was assisted by freshman Maury Urcadez (Tucson Magnet HS).

Gonzalez wasn't finished as she assisted in Hunley's first goal in the 47th minute to put the Aztecs up 3-0. Scottsdale got on the board in the 50th minute but the Aztecs came back with Hunley's second goal in the 59th minute. The goal was assisted by freshman Daniela Garcia (Desert View HS).
