The Pima Community College women's soccer team (14-1-2, 14-1-2 in ACCAC) earned its ninth shutout win of the season on Saturday in Douglas.
The No. 17 ranked Aztecs defeated Cochise College 2-0 and have won 10 of their last 12 games. The other two games were ties.
Sophomore Devyn Hunley (Sabino HS) put the Aztecs on the board in the 22nd minute with an assist from fellow sophomore Prescilla Gonzalez (Buena HS). Hunley has 11 goals on the year. The Aztecs led 1-0 at halftime.
Sophomore Alyssa O'Connell (Empire HS) gave the Aztecs a bit of a cushion with her goal in the 56th minute. Sophomore Callen Shelton had the assist.
The Aztecs didn't allow a shot on goal to Cochise as Pima had 12 shots for the game.
The Aztecs play at Mesa Community College on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
