The Pima Community College women's soccer team (15-1-2, 15-1-2 in ACCAC) showcased another balanced effort on Tuesday at Mesa Community College.
The Aztecs blanked Mesa 3-0 earning their 10th shutout win of the season and winning their sixth straight road game.
Sophomore Devyn Hunley (Sabino HS), this week's ACCAC Player of the Week, put the Aztecs on the board with a goal in the 4th minute. She assisted in Pima's second goal by freshman Destiny Jones (Canyon del Oro HS) in the 65th minute. Sophomore Brandi Park (Sabino HS) helped put the game away with a goal off a penalty kick in the 80th minute.
The Aztecs outshot Mesa 13-6 and freshman goalkeeper Daniela Sanchez (Sabino HS) finished the game with six saves.
The Aztecs earned a regular season sweep against Mesa as they won 2-0 at Kino North Stadium last month.
The Aztecs will play GateWay Community College on Thursday at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex. The game is set to start at 4:30 p.m.
