Park Has Hat Trick as Aztecs Women's Soccer Earn Third Straight Shutout Win

The Pima Community College women's soccer team (16-1-2, 16-1-2 in ACCAC) continue to dominate in its final road tests of the regular season as the Aztecs earned its third straight shutout victory.

The No. 11 ranked Aztecs defeated GateWay Community College 4-0 on Thursday at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix.

Sophomore Brandi Park (Sabino HS) led the charge as she scored a hat trick. She put the Aztecs on the board with a penalty kick goal in the 40^th minute. The Aztecs led 1-0 at halftime. Park came back and scored her second goal off another penalty kick in the 70^th minute. She sealed the win with her third goal of the game in the 87^th minute.

Freshman Destiny Jones (Canyon del Oro HS) scored her goal to put Pima up 3-0 in the 81^st minute that was assisted by Park.

The Aztecs have won 12 of their last 14 games and earned their 11^th shutout victory of the season.

The Aztecs will close out the regular season and look to seal the No. 1 seed for the Region I, Division I tournament on Saturday at Glendale Community College. The game will start at 11:00 a.m.
