Aztecs women's soccer drops final regular season game against Scottsdale CC

The Pima Community College women's soccer team (2-5-1) closed out the regular season on Thursday against Scottsdale Community College (5-2).

  • The Aztecs were shut out 3-0 by the Artichokes as Pima has struggled scoring one goal in their last four games. They have gone 0-3-1 during that stretch.
  • The Artichokes scored all three of their goals in the first half (5th, 26th and 32nd minutes).
  • The Aztecs finished with five shots on goal and sophomore goalkeeper Chloe Kunnemann (Empire HS) had four saves.

The No. 3 seeded Aztecs will play in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Tournament as they play at No. 2 seed Scottsdale Community College in the semifinal round on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
