Volleyball standout Davis signs to Shaw University

Pima Community College volleyball player Victoria Davis (Sahuaro HS) battled back from injury after the 2016 season and has now signed her national letter intent to a four-year institution.

Davis, a sophomore outside hitter, signed to play at Shaw University, an NCAA Division II school in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Davis earned second team All-ACCAC and was named to the NJCAA Region I, Division II team. She played in all 25 matches this season with 12 double-doubles in kills and digs. Davis was fourth in the ACCAC conference with 309 kills and fourth in kills per set with 3.59. She had 375 digs (4.36 per set) and led the Aztecs with 340.0 points.
