Bio

Becky Fajardo MS, ATC earned her Masters Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Arizona and has a Bachelors of Science, Biology and a Minor in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from Southwest Missouri State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Prior to Pima, Fajardo spent 20 years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Sahuaro High School (2001-2021). She was also the Head Athletic Trainer at Salpointe Catholic High School (1994-2001). Her profession also led her to being an Athletic Trainer at the ESPN Great Outdoor Games in Lake Placid, New York and Reno Nevada (2000-2004) as well as the ESPN X Games in Providence, Rhoad Island and San Diego/San Francisco, California (1996-2000). Fajardo was also the Head Athletic Trainer for Sport Active Television Football Video Game in 1995.

Fajardo served as the Arizona Athletic Trainers Association Vice President for two terms and was a volunteer in Meetings and Event/Registration for 15 years (2000-2015). She was an Instructor at the University of Arizona Athletic Trainer's High School Symposium (1995) and Vice President of the University of Arizona Graduate Athletic Trainer's Association (1994-1995). Fajardo worked as an Instructor Aide for the Cramer Athletic Training Workshop (1992-1994). She was President (1993-1994) and Tresurer (1991-1992) of the Southwest Missouri State University Student Athletic Trainer's Assocation.

She is certified in the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA), Arizona Athletic Trainer's Association (AZATA), Arizona Board of Athletic Training, American Red Cross (FA/CPR/AED) for the Professional Rescuer. She is also an American Red Cross Instructor: BLS, Community CPR/AED, Bloodbourne Pathogens and EMR.
