Bio

April Jessee MS, ATC, LAT is in her 11th year as an Athletic Trainer for Pima Community College.  She is originally from Phoenix, AZ and received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Arizona State University and her M.S. in Athletic Training from AT Still University. 

Prior to coming to Pima, Jessee had stints as the Head Athletic Trainer at College of Santa Fe and an Assistant Athletic Trainer at University Hawaii-Hilo.  She began her career with Phoenix College Athletic Training Staff where she spent nine years initially starting as an athletic training intern student while attending ASU and continuing through as she became certified assistant in 2004. 

From 2006-2008 she served as a graduate assistant while completing her M.S. in Athletic Training from the AT Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences.  She is also a graduate of the Phoenix College Therapeutic Massage program. Jessee is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
