(Tournament Schedule) Aztecs Baseball play McCook CC on Thursday in West District Tournament

The Pima Community College baseball team is heading to Beatrice, Nebraska to play in the NJCAA West District Tournament with a chance to advance to the NJCAA Division I World Series.

• The Aztecs will be part of the double-elimination tournament beginning on Thursday as all games will be played at Southeast Community College's Christenson Field.
• The Aztecs will open play on Thursday against McCook Community College (NE) at 3:00 p.m. The second game will feature Salt Lake Community College vs. Southeast Community College at 7:00 p.m.
• Here is the schedule for the NJCAA West District Tournament:

Thursday, May 18

• 3:00 p.m. – (Game 1) Pima Community College Aztecs vs. McCook Community College Indians
• 7:00 p.m. – (Game 2) Southeast Community College Storm vs. Salt Lake Community College Bruins

Friday, May 19

• 12:00 p.m. – (Game 3) L1 vs. L2
• 3:00 p.m. – (Game 4) W1 vs. W2
• 7:00 p.m. – (Game 5) W3 vs. L4

Saturday, May 20

• 12:00 p.m. – (Game 6) Championship Game
• 30-40 minutes after – (Game 7) If necessary

The Aztecs advanced on Saturday after claiming their first NJCAA Region I, Division I title since 1998. Live stream information will be provided at a later time.
