Pima Baseball's Andrew Stucky named NJCAA All-American

Pima Community College baseball standout Andrew Stucky (Canyon del Oro HS) earned national attention for his play during the 2023 season on Monday as the NJCAA released its Baseball All-American teams.

  • Stucky, a sophomore outfielder and catcher, was named NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention. He is the first Pima baseball NJCAA All-American since Phillip Sikes, who was named Honorable Mention in 2019.
  • Stucky was selected ACCAC Player of the Year, first team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region this season.
  • He batted .362 in 57 games played as he led the team with 21 doubles, seven home runs, 43 RBIs and 33 walks. Stucky also finished the season with 68 hits (30 extra base hits) and 50 runs scored in 188 at-bats. He had 124 put-outs and produced a fielding percentage of .978.
  • Stucky will continue his collegiate career at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
