Aztecs Men's Basketball Drop First Game at MJC Tourney vs. Fresno City College
The Pima Community College men's basketball team began play in the Modesto Junior College Tournament on Wednesday in Modesto, CA.
The Aztecs fell to Fresno City College 84-71which forces the Aztecs into consolation bracket play. Fresno City College is ranked No. 14 in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA).
The Aztecs trailed 41-30 at halftime and were outscored 43-41 in the second half. Sophomore Cameron Volk (Tucson Magnet HS) finished with a team-high 23 points while freshman Keven Biggs (Cienega HS) contributed with 12 points.
The Aztecs will play Contra Costa College tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. in the consolation bracket.
