Baker and Jackson nab back-to-back ACCAC Division II Player of the Week honors

Aztecs men's basketball players Dillan Baker (Dec. 25-31) and Traivar Jackson (Jan. 1-7) earned back-to-back ACCAC Division II Player of the Week honors. Pima Community College men's basketball players Dillan Baker (Salpointe Catholic HS) and Traivar Jackson have been instrumental in the program's success up to this point and earned recognition from the ACCAC conference.

Baker, a freshman guard, earned ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 25-31 as the Aztecs went 3-0 at their hosted Aztec Holiday Classic. Pima beat three NJCAA Division I programs and Baker averaged 19 points, 3.67 rebounds, 2 assists and shot 50 percent from the field.
Jackson, a sophomore forward, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 1-7. Jackson averaged a double-double of 24 points, 11.5 rebounds and 4 assists as the Aztecs earned victories over South Mountain and Mesa Community College.
