Gonzales and Wolfe's hot shooting helps Men's Basketball prevail at Chandler-Gilbert CC

The Pima Community College men's basketball team (7-0, 2-0 in ACCAC) continued its hot start on Saturday as it earned a road win at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (5-4, 1-1).
- The No. 8 ranked Aztecs beat the Coyotes 78-56. Pima led 39-30 at halftime and went on to outscore the Coyotes by double digits in the second half 39-26.
- Sophomore Cohenj Gonzales (Mesquite HS) went 6 for 9 from three-point range as he finished with a team-high 20 points to go with four assists and two steals.
- Freshman Brigg Wolfe (Mesa Mountain View HS) provided a spark off the bench as he finished with 13 points after going 5 for 5 from the field. He also had four assists and two steals.
- Sophomore Max Majerle (Arcadia HS) was 4 for 6 from the field with 12 points. He also had six rebounds and two steals.
- Freshman Mason Hunt (Bradshaw Mountain HS) scored 11 points off the bench while sophomore Gabe Oldham contributed with eight points and 15 rebounds.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday, Dec. 4 when they play South Mountain Community College. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
