Canyon del Oro golfer and Southern Arizona All-Star Rivas signs to Aztecs men's golf program

The Pima Community College men's golf team signed Andrew Rivas from Canyon del Oro High School.

• Rivas averaged 77.5 per round during his time with the Dorados. His best finish in a round was 1-under par.
• He played as an individual in the 2019 AIA Division II Boys State Championships. Rivas was named a Southern Arizona Golf All-Star on AllSportsTucson.com the last two years. He was selected second team after this season.
• Coach's Quote: "I am excited to watch Andrew grow and play golf at a high level," Pima men's and women's golf coach Marcus Smith said. "He has shown that he can be a leader and I'm eager to see where his leadership abilities take him on and off the golf course. He has a great mindset coming into the program and is ready to do big things."
