Francisco Manzo scores two and dishes two assists as Aztecs men's soccer overwhelms Glendale CC

The Pima Community College men's soccer team (2-0) played its first road game of the 2021 season on Tuesday at Glendale Community College (0-2).

• The No. 3 ranked Aztecs defeated the Gauchos 7-0 to secure their second straight shutout of the season.
• Sophomore Francisco Manzo (Salpointe Catholic HS) scored two goals and had two assists in the game. He scored his goals in the 60^th and 72^nd minutes. He assisted in the first two goals of the game.
• Sophomore Taein Ka scored two goals. He put the Aztecs on the scoreboard with his goal in the 32^nd minute and later made it 5-0 with his shot in the 65^th minute.
• Freshman Jacob Garcia (Walden Grove HS) had two assists for the game. He found Manzo for his first goal in the 60^th minute to make it 4-0 and found Ka for his second goal in the 65^th.
• Sophomore Ulysses Torres (Sunnyside HS) scored a goal in the 38^th minute to make it 2-0. Sophomore Sam Lossou (Rincon HS) netted his goal late in the first half (41^st minute) with an assist from freshman Jesus Virgen (Sunnyside HS). The Aztecs led 3-0 at the break.
• Freshman Issack Nunez (Tucson Magnet HS) capped off the scoring with his goal in the 89^th minute.
• The Aztecs finished with 17 shots on goal. Sophomore Juan Suarez (Desert View HS) finished with five saves.

The Aztecs will head back out on the road to play at Mesa Community College on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
