Freshmen team captains D'Andre Pickett (Tucson Magnet HS) and Brandon Sanchez (Canyon del Oro HS), were named to the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division II All-American team. The Pima Community College men’s soccer program received more accolades from the 2023 season.

Freshman defender D'Andre Pickett (Tucson Magnet HS) was named First Team NJCAA Division II All-American as he became the 19th All-American in the last 17 years. The Aztecs have produced an NJCAA All-American for the 11th straight year. Pickett played in 16 of the 17 games and helped the backfield secure eight shutout wins during the season. The Pima Community College men’s soccer program produced an NJCAA All-American for the 11th straight season as the teams were announced on Tuesday.

The Pima Community College men’s soccer season came an end on Tuesday at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Freshmen Nico Valenzuela (Salpointe Catholic HS) and Jose Luis Martin Montealegre each net two goals as the No. 5 seeded Aztecs beat No. 9 Rock Valley College 5-1 to open Pool D play at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (13-2-1) opened play in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament on Monday at the Kino North Grandstand.

The Aztecs Men's Soccer team got into the NJCAA Division II National Tournament with an at-large bid as they will be the No. 5 seed. The tournament will be at the Kino North Sports Complex from Nov. 12-18. The Aztecs will be part of Pool D and will play on Monday and Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Photo by Stephanie van Latum

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team is heading to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team got three players named to the All-ACCAC Conference and All-Region teams.

The No. 1 seeded Aztecs Men's Soccer team got upset in the NJCAA Region I, division II semifinal round as they fell to No. 4 Glendale Community College 2-2 (Glendale wins penalty kicks 3-0). The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (12-2-1) took the advantage on two occasions but could not close out Glendale Community College (9-4-3) on Wednesday in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Semifinals.

The No. 3 ranked Aztecs Men's Soccer team closed out the regular season with a 4-1 win against South Mountain Community College. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (11-2, 8-2 in ACCAC) bounced back in its final regular season road test of the season on Saturday at Eastern Arizona College (5-7-2, 4-5-1).

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (9-1, 6-1 in ACCAC) won its sixth straight game on Saturday and did its damage in the first half to blank Chandler-Gilbert Community College (0-9-1, 0-6-1) on the road.
