Darlington Onsarigo (Triple Jump) and Layla Konski (Long Jump) earn qualifiers at Pima Indoor Invitational

The Pima Community College men's and women's track & field teams hosted the Pima Multi's/Indoor Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Track.
- Sophomore Darlington Onsarigo (Mica Mountain HS) took first place in the Triple Jump and earned an Indoor national qualifying mark and a Pima-career best in his first attempt at 14.62 meters (47-feet, 11.50-inches).
- Freshman Cedric Cade finished in first place in the Heptathlon as he improved on his national qualifier with 4948 points. He is ranked No. 4 in the nation. He took first place in four of the seven events: 60-meters (7.08), Long Jump (7.07 meters, 23-2.25), 60-meter hurdles (8.75) and High Jump (1.96 meters, 6-5.25). Cade previous qualifier was 4460 points.
- Sophomore Tyler Rogers improved on his national qualifier in the High Jump as he took first place with a mark of 2.09 meters (6-10.25). His previous qualifier for this season was 2.04 meters (6-8.25). His Pima career best is 2.10 meters (6-10.75).
- Sophomore Nathaniel Curtiss (Rincon/University HS) also improved on his national qualifier in the High Jump as he cleared 2.04 meters (6-8.25). He improved from his previous mark of 1.99 meters (6-6.25). Curtiss' Pima career best is 2.16 meters (7-1).
- In women's track & field action, freshman Layla Konski (Ironwood Ridge HS) set an Indoor and Outdoor national qualifying mark in the Long Jump as she reached a mark of 5.81 meters (19-feet, 0.75-inches) on her first attempt.
The Aztecs will compete in their final regular season meet of the Indoor Season on Friday at the NAU Tune-Up in Flagstaff.
