The Pima Community College women's basketball team (1-0) opened the 2019-20 season on Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.
- The No. 3 ranked Aztecs defeated the Park University Junior Varsity 88-50 after opening the game with a 25-6 in the first quarter. The Aztecs took a 46-18 lead at halftime.
- Sophomore Hallie Lawson (Campo Verde HS) scored 22 points for Pima.
The Aztecs will head to Thatcher, AZ for the Eastern Arizona Classic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They will open play on Thursday against Odessa College at 5:00 p.m.
