Jordan Joe's back-to-back career highs earn ACCAC Player of the Week honors

Pima Community College women's basketball player Jordan Joe (Gallup HS, NM) posted career highs in points in back-to-back games as she was inserted into the starting lineup during the week of Feb. 4-10.

  • Joe, a sophomore forward, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for her efforts.
  • She averaged 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds as she shot 13 for 20 from the field (65 percent), 7 for 10 from three-point range (70 percent) and 2 for 2 from the free throw line (100 percent).
  • Joe scored a career-high 15 points in Pima's 90-41 win at South Mountain Community College last Wednesday. She shattered that with a new career-best of 20 points in their 92-53 win against Yavapai College on Saturday.
  • Joe has played in all 24 games; making four starts so far this season. She is averaging 6.3 points and 2.1 rebounds while shooting 53.6 percent from the field, 41.5 percent from beyond the arc and 91.7 percent from the free throw line.

The No. 14 ranked Aztecs will play No. 4 Mesa Community College on Wednesday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
