The Pima Community College women's soccer team (3-0, 3-0 in ACCAC) secured its third straight shutout victory on Thursday at Kino North Stadium.
The No. 5 ranked Aztecs scored two second half goals to beat previously unbeaten Arizona Western College 2-0.
Sophomore Brandi Park (Sabino HS) (pictured) broke the scoreless tie in the 60th minute when she scored off a left-side corner kick. Freshman Aracely Romero (Tucson Magnet HS) netted the second goal after a bad header by Arizona Western went right to her. She scored right in front of the net in the 82nd minute.
The Aztecs outshot Arizona Western College 10-5 for the game and freshman goalkeeper Daniela Sanchez (Sabino HS) had five saves.
The Aztecs will host Glendale Community College at Kino North Stadium on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
