The Pima Community College women's soccer team (3-1, 3-1 in ACCAC) earned a shutout victory in Douglas on Saturday.
The No. 9 ranked Aztecs defeated Cochise College (0-4, 0-4) 2-0 after scoring two goals in the first half.
Sophomore Maria Delgadillo (Rio Rico HS) scored the two goals. She hit a shot to put Pima on the board in the 30th minute. She netted her second goal in the 33rd minute with an assist from freshman Alexis Hernandez (Ironwood Ridge HS).
The Aztecs outshot the Apaches 8-4 for the game. Sophomore goalkeeper Daniela Sanchez (Sabino HS) finished with two saves in the first half. Freshman keeper Tara Kase (Buena HS) played the second half and also had two saves.
The Aztecs will be back on the road on Tuesday when they play at Scottsdale Community College at 8:00 p.m.
