The Pima Community College women's soccer season came to an end on Monday in the NJCAA Region I, Division I quarterfinal match.
- The No. 5 seeded Aztecs fell to No. 4 Scottsdale Community College 1-0.
- Scottsdale's Tayler Brown broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 84th minute with an assist from Addison Cress.
- The Aztecs had a chance to get on the board early in the second half when sophomore Paola Ruedaflores (Nogales HS) had a chance again the Artichokes' goalkeeper but her shot was just off the mark.
- The Aztecs finished with four shots on goal and freshman goalkeeper Haven Chambers (Walden Grove HS) had five saves.
The Aztecs close out the season with a 10-8-3 overall record. It was the program's eighth straight season with 10 or more win. They had seven sophomores on the team.
