The Pima Community College volleyball team (14-9, 4-4 in ACCAC) were in a tough match at Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Wednesday.
The Aztecs gained a couple of advantages in the match but it took a fifth set tie-breaker to finally put Chandler-Gilbert away. The Aztecs won 25-18, 22-25, 26-24, 24-26, 15-4.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus gym on Friday when they host South Mountain Community College. Pima has lost to South Mountain twice this season; the first in a tie-breaker at the New Mexico Military Institute Classic and then in a four-set conference match in Phoenix in August.
