The Pima Community College volleyball team (14-11, 4-6 in ACCAC) fell behind and a comeback was cut short on Wednesday at Phoenix College.
The Aztecs won the third set but lost in four (25-18, 25-17, 17-25, 25-17). The Aztecs split the regular season head-to-head against Phoenix College. Pima won in five sets last month at the West Campus.
Sophomore Brooklyn Scarborough (Thatcher HS) finished the match with eight kills while fellow sophomore Miranda Bingham (Safford HS) had 35 assists and three aces. Sophomore Angel Chavez (Mingus Union HS) contributed with 26 digs and one ace.
The Aztecs will be back on the road on Friday when they play at Scottsdale Community College at 7:00 p.m.
