The Pima Community College volleyball team (8-13, 2-7 in ACCAC) faced a tough test against No. 2 ranked Glendale Community College (15-2, 8-1) on Friday in Glendale.
The Aztecs fell in straight sets 25-13, 25-18, 25-13. The Aztecs were swept by the Gauchos in head-to-head meetings during the regular season as they lost 3-1 at the West Campus last month 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18)
Freshman Kayli Riesgo (Cienega HS) finished the match with 16 assists, five digs and two aces while sophomore Aleksandra Palmer (Thatcher HS) had eight kills and six digs. Freshman Anissa Conrad (Sahuaro HS) posted 10 digs and one ace.
The Aztecs will return to the West Campus Gymnasium on Wednesday when they host Phoenix College at 7:00 p.m.
