Volleyball libero Morgan Hains earns NJCAA and ACCAC Defensive Player of the Week

Sophomore libero Morgan Hains (Canyon del Oro HS) earned NJCAA and ACCAC Division II Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 15-21. She finished with 60 digs, nine assists and three aces as Pima won in five sets at Mesa Community College and fell to No. 1 ranked Scottsdale Community College in four sets. Pima Community College volleyball player Morgan Hains (Canyon del Oro HS) earned national recognition for her play during the week of October 15-21.

Hains, a sophomore libero, was selected NJCAA Division II Defensive Player of the Week and ACCAC Division II Defensive Player of the Week.
She finished the week with 60 digs to go along with nine assists and three aces as the Aztecs went on the road and beat Mesa Community College in five sets but fell to No. 1 ranked Scottsdale Community College in four sets.

The Aztecs will host their final regular season match on Friday against Glendale Community College. First volleyball is at 7:00 p.m.
