Coaching Experience: Coach Mark has been coaching since 2011. In that time, he coached athletes ranging from age 10 to Division I college. Prior to joining the Aztecs, he spent three years coaching at St. Cyril's where he led the Cougars to three tournament 1^st place finishes. Coach Mark spent six seasons at Canyon del Oro High School where he assisted the Dorados in winning the Sahuaro Cougar Invitational and the Lion’s Den Invitational. He spent one season at Palo Verde High School where he assisted the Titans to their winningest season in the past five years; and one season at the University of North Texas where he assisted the Mean Green to making the post season. He also spent eight years coaching with the Southern Arizona Volleyball Academy where he prepared many athletes to play at the collegiate level. He has spent the last three years coaching for Zona Volleyball Club.
Personal: While not on the volleyball court, Coach Carter enjoys working out, playing video games, swimming, and spending time with his family.
