The Pima Community College baseball team (18-15, 11-11 in ACCAC) returned to the West Campus Aztec Field on Tuesday after a six-game road trip, to host Chandler-Gilbert Community College (18-17, 11-11).

Sophomore Mason Hunt scored a game-high 30 points on 11-for-16 shooting while fellow sophomore Brock Mendoza posted 23 points, eight rebounds and four blocks as the No. 4 seeded Aztecs Men's Basketball team defeated No. 13 Davidson-Davie Community College 108-80 to advance to the Elite Eight at NJCAA Division II National Tournament. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (33-0) opened play in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament with a statement win on Tuesday against Davidson-Davie Community College (NC).

Sophomore Kiley Sours-Miller scored a game-high 26 points on 12-for-19 shooting with nine rebounds while fellow sophomore Melicia Nelson fell short of a triple-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as the No. 4 seeded Aztecs Women's Basketball team beat Des Moines Area Community College 71-64 to advance to the Elite Eight matchup on Thursday vs. No. 12 Union College of Union County at 2:00 p.m. (EST); 11:00 a.m. Tucson time. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (27-4) used a strong third quarter to pull away in its game against Des Moines Area Community College (26-9) to open the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Sophomore Clarissa Figueroa (Mountain View HS) finished 4-for-7 with four RBIs, four runs scored and two doubles while freshman Alyssa Aguirre (Sabino HS) was 6-for-7 with an RBI and five runs scored as the No. 13 ranked Aztecs Softball team swept Paradise Valley Community College 7-1 and 12-2. The Pima Community College softball team (23-4, 17-3 in ACCAC) won its sixth straight game on Saturday as it hosted Paradise Valley Community College (1-19, 1-19) at the West Campus Aztec Field.

The Pima Men's and Women's Basketball teams were each selected as the No. 4 seeds for their respected NJCAA Division II National Tournaments. The men will play in Danville, IL as their first game will be on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 9:00 a.m. (CDT). The women will play in Hickory, NC and their first game will be on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 10:00 (EDT). Both games will be play at 7:00 p.m. Tucson time. The Pima Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams found out their seedings as the NJCAA released its Selection Shows on Tuesday for the Division II National Tournaments.

Freshman Cooper Kruk finished 4-for-9 with six RBIs, three runs scored and two home runs while freshman Adriel Figueroa-Brito went 3-for-8 with three RBIs, two runs and three stolen bases as the No. 25 ranked Aztecs Baseball team split at Mesa Community College falling 7-6 and winning 15-10. The Pima Community College softball team (21-4, 15-3 in ACCAC) returned to the West Campus Aztec Field on Tuesday for an ACCAC conference doubleheader against Glendale Community College (8-13, 8-12).

Sophomore Cedric Cade (sixth place) and Andrew Schmier (seventh place) earned All-American statius in the Heptathlon while the 4x800 relay team of Danny Knapp, Eduardo Aviles, Tayvien Biancuzzo and Noah Macias broke the Pima Indoor school record and took eighth place. The Pima Community College men’s track & field team competed at the NJCAA Indoor National Championships on Friday and Saturday at Washburn University in Topeka, KS.

Sophomore Kymia Bridgett became an NJCAA Indoor National Champion in the Triple Jump (12.58 meters, 41-3.25) while sophomore Hannah Droeg became a two-time NJCAA All-American with her runner-up finish in the Pentathlon (3344 pts). The Pima Community College softball team (19-4, 13-3 in ACCAC) picked up a sweep on the road on Saturday at Mesa Community College (5-15, 5-13).

The Aztecs Women's Basketball team became back-to-back Region I, Division II/West District Champions after defeating Mesa Community College 80-73 on Friday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (26-4) is heading back to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

The No. 1 seeded Aztecs Men's Basketball team hit 17 3-pointers as their way to a 108-70 win over No. 4 seed Glendale Community College in the Region I, Division II Semifinals. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (31-0) took care of business on its home floor on Thursday in the Region I, Division II Semifinals.

Sophomore post player Kiley Sours-Miller became a two-time ACCAC Division II Player of the Year while coach Todd Holthaus was selected ACCAC Division II coach of the Year. Sophomore Melicia Nelson was named First Team All-ACCAC/All-Region I and freshman Reigne Waugh earned Second Team All-ACCAC/All-Region I.
