The Pima Community College baseball team (12-5, 5-3 in ACCAC) took to the road on Wednesday for an ACCAC conference doubleheader against GateWay Community College at Gene Autry Park in Mesa, AZ.

Sophomore Isaac Johnson and freshman Gerron Graham (Premier Prep Academy) combined to go 12-for13 from the field as they each scored 17 points as the No. 4 ranked Aztecs Men's Basketball team beat South Mountain Community College 77-65 on Wednesday in Phoenix. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (28-0, 16-0 in ACCAC) visited South Mountain Community College (23-5, 12-4) on Wednesday in an ACCAC conference matchup between the top two teams in Division II.

Sophomore Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City Christian) finished with 19 points, nine rebounds and six blocks while fellow sophomore Melicia Nelson flirted with a quadruple double finishing with 16 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and seven steals as the No. 10 ranked Aztecs Women's Basketball team beat South Mountain Community College 93-18. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (22-4, 14-2 in ACCAC) picked up its 10th straight win on Wednesday as it played an ACCAC conference game at South Mountain Community College (3-19, 0-16).

Sophomore Julissa Lopez (Tucson Magnet HS) hit a walk-off RBI single in the 7th inning of the second game while sophomore Belen Camacho (Pueblo HS) threw a complete-game shutout in the first game as the No. 6 ranked Aztecs softball team took two games from Scottsdale Community college in an ACCAC conference doubleheader. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (27-0, 15-0 in ACCAC) won its 27th straight game on Saturday after hosting Chandler-Gilbert Community College (13-14, 4-11) at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

Sophomore Cedric Cade and freshman Danny Knapp (Rio Rico HS) each set two NJCAA national qualifiers at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational. Cade earn qualifiers in the High Jump (2.03 meters, 6-feet, 8-inches) and the Long Jump (7.15 meters, 23-5.5) and Knapp set his qualifiers in the 600-meter (1:22.52) and 800-meter (1:56.22) races. Pima Community College men’s basketball player Mason Hunt (Bradshaw Mountain HS) came away with his third selection as ACCAC Division II Player of the Week.

Freshman distance runner Noah Macias (Mica Mountain HS) was named ACCAC Co-Track Athlete of the Week after he took first place in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.51.
