Pima Community College men’s basketball player Isaac Johnson (Oakland HS, CA) was instrumental in another pair of victories during the week of Feb. 15-21.

Pima Community College softball pitcher Belen Camacho (Pueblo HS) earned national recognition for her starts during the week of Feb. 15-21.

Pima Community College women’s track & field athlete Kymia Bridgett earned her second selection as ACCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the NAU Tune-Up last Friday in Flagstaff.

Sophomore Mason Hunt (Bradshaw Mountain HS) scored a team-high 20 points as he finished 5-for-7 from beyond the arc while freshman Isaiah Hill (Premier Prep Academy) fell short of a triple-double with 17 points, nine assists and seven steals as the No. 4 ranked Aztecs Men's Basketball team completed their second straight unbeaten regular season after topping Mesa Community College 104-66. The Aztecs are 30-0 overall and finish 18-0 in ACCAC conference play. They will be the No. 1 seed for the Region I, Division II Tournament and will host a semifinal game on Thursday, Mar. 6. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (30-0, 18-0 in ACCAC) completed its second straight undefeated regular season on Wednesday after beating Mesa Community College (13-12, 7-10) at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

Freshman Reigne Waugh scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the No. 9 ranked Aztecs Women's Basketball team defeated No. 14 Mesa Community College 74-60 on Jim Rosborough Appreciation Night. The Aztecs locked up the No. 1 seed for the Region I, Division II Tournament. The Aztecs closed the regular season on a 12-game winning streak and are 24-4 overall and 16-2 in ACCAC confernece play. The Pima Community College men’s track & field team finished out the 2026 Pima Indoor regular season schedule on Tuesday at the Pima Indoor Multi’s Meet at the West Campus Aztec Track.

Sophomore Julissa Lopez (Tucson Magnet HS) went 4-for-7 with five RBIs and two runs while fellow sophomore Amerika Lopez-Bedoy (Sunnyside HS) was 3-for-6 with two RBIs and run as No. 9 ranked Aztecs Softball split at Eastern Arizona College falling 8-7 and winning 6-4. The Pima Community College softball team (17-2) stepped away from ACCAC Division II conference play on Tuesday for a doubleheader at Eastern Arizona College (10-3).

Sophomore Hannah Droeg (Casteel HS) broke the Pima Indoor school record in the Pentathlon with a total of 3366 points toppling Jackie Trice's record of 3328 set in 20023. She is ranked No. 2 in the nation as the Aztecs Women's Track & Field team closed out the Indoor regular season on Tuesday at the West Campus Aztec Track. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (23-4, 15-2 in ACCAC) won its 11th straight game on Saturday as it used a run between the second and third quarters to help take control against Glendale Community College (8-17, 3-13).

Sophomore Ketch Sulpizio (Gila Ridge HS) tied the Pima Indoor school record in the Pole Vault with a mark of 4.75 meters (15-feet, 7-inches) while freshman Tya Starkey (Casteel HS) entered the Top 5 list Pima Indoor School history and set her second improved mark in the Pole Vault with a mark of 3.25 meters (10-8).
