The Pima Men's Soccer coaching staff consisting of head coach David Cosgrove and assistant coaches Nils Roth, Gabe Mendoza and Conner Cosgrove, were selected by the United Soccer Coaches as the Junior College Men's Division II West Region Staff of the Year. The Pima Community College men’s soccer program received another honor from the United Soccer Coaches.

Sophomore defender D'Andre Pickett (Tucson Magnet HS) and sophomore midfielder Brandon Sanchez (Canyon del Oro HS) became two-time United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division II Men's All-Americans. Pima Community College men’s soccer players D’Andre Pickett (Tucson Magnet HS) and Brandon Sanchez (Canyon del Oro HS) earned more national recognition for their play during the 2024 season.

The Aztecs Men's Soccer team produced three for the NJCAA All-Americans list. The Pima Community College soccer teams closed out their 2024 seasons last week at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

The (1) Aztecs Men's Soccer team fell in the NJCAA Division II National Semifinals to (5) Northeast Community College 2-2 (Hawks win 5-4 in penalty kicks). The Aztecs closed out the 2024 season with a 20-1-1 overall record (most wins in a season since 2018). They were 10-0 at the West Campus Aztec Field, produced a 13-game winning streak, were Co-ACCAC Conference Champions and won their first Region I, Division II title since 2020-21. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team played in its NJCAA Division II National Semifinals game on Thursday against Northeast Community College at Joe Davis Stadium.

The Pima Aztecs Men's Soccer team is heading back to the NJCAA Division II National Semifinals for the first time since 2021 after beating No. 8 seed Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 3-2 in overtime. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (20-1) will be making their first appearance back in the NJCAA Division II National Semifinals since 2021 but it wasn’t easy closing out Pool A on Tuesday against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (12-4-5).

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (19-1) opened play in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament on Sunday at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, AL.

The Aztecs men's and women's soccer teams are both headed to their respected NJCAA Division II National Tournaments. The men's team will be the No. 1 seed and the women's team will be the No. 6 seed. Both tournaments begin pool play on Sunday in Huntsville, AL. Photos by Stephanie van Latum

The Pima Community College men’s and women’s soccer teams are heading to Huntsville, AL as the NJCAA released the seedings and brackets for the NJCAA Division II National Tournaments.

The Aztecs got five players on the All-ACCAC/Region I teams. Sophomore D'Andre Pickett (Tucson Magnet HS) was named ACCAC/Region I, Division II Player of the Year. Sophomores Brandon Sanchez (Canyon del Oro HS) and Ismael Ruiz (Tucson Magnet HS) were named to the first team while sophomores Frank Castro (Prescott HS) and Jose Carlos Ortiz (Barca Academy) were selected to the second team. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team was highlighted in the All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference/Region teams.

The Pima Aztecs Men's Soccer team captured its first Region I, Division II Championship since 2020-21 after the No. 2 seeded Aztecs defeated No. 1 Phoenix College 1-0 in overtime. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (18-1) is back on top of the mountain as the Aztecs won its first Region I, Division II Championship since the 2020-21 season.

Sophomores Jose Luis Martin Montealegre (#8) and Missael Montilla (#14) scored two early goals in the first half and proved to be enough as the No. 2 seeded Aztecs defeated No. 3 Glendale Community college 2-0 in the Region I, Division II Semifinals. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (17-1) is heading back to the Region I, Division II Championship round as it took care of business at the West Campus Aztec Field.

Freshman Eythan Mancilla (Sunnyside HS) put the Aztecs ahead for good with his goal in the 82nd minute while sophomore Brandon Sanchez (Canyon del Oro HS) tied it up with a penalty kick in the first half as No. 4 ranked Aztecs Men's Soccer upset No. 2 Phoenix College 3-1 to close out the regular season. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (16-1, 15-1 in ACCAC) closed out the regular season with a signature win on Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Field.

Sophomore Ismael Ruiz scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 46th minute as the No. 4 ranked Aztecs Men's Soccer team defeated No. 20 Glendale Community College 2-1 for their eighth straight win. The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (15-1, 14-1 in ACCAC) picked up a big road win on Saturday at Glendale Community College (9-4-2) as it sets up a big showdown next weekend at the West Campus Aztec Field to close the regular season.

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (14-1, 13-1 in ACCAC) earned its seventh straight win on Tuesday as it played an afternoon match at South Mountain Community College (2-10-1).

Sophomore Jose Luis Martin Montealegre had a hat trick while fellow sophomore Dohyun Koh provided two assists as No. 4 Men's Soccer picked up their sixth straight win and ninth shutout victory after beating GateWay Community College 4-0.
