Years at Pima: 2nd year at Pima (6 years total coaching/competing for Pima)
Education: Graduated in 1990 from Marana High School in Marana, AZ. Received an Associate’s Degree from Pima Community College, Tucson AZ(1993); Bachelor’s Degree from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces NM(1996)
Coaching/Playing Experience: Coach Teso was a Decathlete/Thrower at Marana High school. He went on to compete in Track and Field at Pima Community College, where he was a 2x Conference Champion and 2x All American. Teso is a former Pima Aztec record holder in the 35lb weight throw and 2x National Qualifier in the Hammer. Coach Teso then competed for the New Mexico State University Aggies where he was a Big West Conference Champion, and school record holder in the Hammer and 35lb Weight. Coach Teso also competed Internationally for Mexico in the Hammer throw where he was the 1995 Ciudad Juarez Champion and Chihuahua State Champion.  He coached at New Mexico State University 1996-1998, Pima Community College 2001-2003, Benson Union High School during the 2017-2022 seasons.
Personal: Coach Teso is the son of Cayetano and Maria Teso of Marana, Arizona. Coach Teso is married to Brandie Teso (Former Pima Aztec Track and field Athlete ,1991-93), he has 2 sons Adrian (Pima Aztec Track and Field Athlete, 2019-22) and David.
