The Pima Community College men's basketball team added another piece to its back court.

The Pima Community College men's basketball received a huge commitment for the 2018-19 season.

Pima Community College men’s basketball player Keven Biggs (Cienega HS) earned a high honor from the NJCAA on Tuesday.

Pima Community College is hosting a celebration to welcome home the Aztecs men's basketball team, who finished runner-up in the NJCAA Division II Championship game. It will be on Tuesday at the West Campus Gymnasium at 5:00 p.m.

ALL ARE INVITED to come celebrate the Aztecs men's basketball's successful season on Tuesday at the West Campus Gymnasium at 5:00 p.m.

The Aztecs men's basketball closed out the 2017-18 season on Saturday claiming the runner-up trophy at the NJCAA Division II Tournament. They fell to No. 1 seed Triton College 89-85 in the championships game. The Aztecs finished the season 31-5 overall. Photo by Raymond Suarez

The Pima Community College men’s basketball’s historic season ended on Saturday in the NJCAA Division II Tournament championship game.

Sophomore Alize Travis fell a couple rebounds short of a triple-double as he finished with 21 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds as the Aztecs defeated Delta College 102-94 to advance to the NJCAA Division II Championship Game. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (31-4) escaped an unbelievable battle in the NJCAA Division II semifinals game on Friday but the Aztecs came out on top and are headed to the championship game.

The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (30-4) gained a couple more milestones for the program on Wednesday after winning its NJCAA Division II Tournament quarterfinal game.

Sophomore Ilunga Moise was the difference maker on the boards as he finished with a double-double of 17 points and 24 rebounds in Pima's 108-84 win over the College of Southern Maryland in the first round of the NJCAA Division II Tournament. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (28-4) is heading back to Danville, IL for the NJCAA Division II National Tournament as the Aztecs claimed its second straight Region I, Division II title on Friday in Phoenix.

Freshman Jeremiah Bailey scored all 20 of his points in the second half as the Aztecs men's basketball team ousted South Mountain Community College 104-95 to advance to the NJCAA Region I, Division II finals. The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (27-4) held off a late rally from South Mountain Community College (19-12) to advance to the NJCAA Region I, Division II finals for the second straight year.

Sophomore guard Isaiah Murphy (Cienega HS) was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the second time this season. He averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Aztecs went 2-0 for the week of Feb. 19-25. Pima Community College men’s basketball player Isaiah Murphy (Cienega HS) earned his second nod as ACCAC Division II Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Four Pima Community College men’s basketball players were selected to the All-ACCAC and All-Region teams on Wednesday.
