The Pima Community College volleyball team produced a standout season in its 2024 campaign and the effort showed as four players were selected to the All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference and Region I, Division II teams.

The 2024 Pima Aztecs volleyball team closed out the season on Friday after falling to Scottsdale Community College in a tiebreaker and finishing third at the Region I, Division II Tournament. The Pima Community College volleyball season came to a close on Friday at the Region I, Division II Tournament.

The No. 3 seeded Aztecs Volleyball battled back from a 2-0 deficit to force a fifth set tiebreaker but the Aztecs fell to No. 2 seed Scottsdale Community College 27-25, 25-19, 19-25, 20-25, 15-13. Sophomore Haylee Gilleland had a double-double of 16 kills and 15 digs while sophomore Jasmin Joseph had 33 digs. The Pima Community College volleyball team (16-13) opened play in the Region I, Division II Tournament on Thursday at Glendale Community College.

The Aztecs volleyball team closed out the regular season with a signature victory after upsetting No. 6 Scottsdale Community College in four sets (19-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19). The Pima Community College volleyball team (15-12, 11-6 in ACCAC) picked up a big ACCAC conference win on Wednesday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

The Aztecs Volleyball team secured a spot in the Region I, Division II Tournament as they defeated South Mountain Community College in a fifth-set tiebreaker (23-25, 25-17, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11). The Pima Community College volleyball team (14-12, 10-6 in ACCAC) found itself in a battle on Friday at South Mountain Community College (5-20, 3-13).

Sophomore Haylee Gilleland (Flagstaff HS) finished with a team-high 19 kills to go along with two aces and one block while freshman Ava Harrelson provided big plays including a block and a kill that put Pima up for good in the fourth sets as the Aztecs beat Central Arizona College (25-16, 15-25, 25-23, 25-23) in a non-conference match. Sophomore Elli Meinke (Ironwood Ridge HS) finished with seven kills and two aces while freshman Maggie McReynolds (Mountain View HS) posted 14 kills, two aces and one block as they helped the Aztecs Volleyball team earn a straight set victory over Phoenix College (27-25, 25-22, 25-23).
